Trek-Segafredo pro Niccolo Bonifazio has shown off his bike-handling skills in a video posted on Facebook.

Bonifazio joined his brother Leonardo and GT Factory downhill racer Wyn Masters in the video. Bonifazio is evidently a highly adept bike handler, performing wheelies and rolling endos on a steep hill in his native Italy alongside Masters.

If that wasn't enough, Bonifazio and Masters then roll along by the seaside, pulling one-handed wheelies side-by-side.

Niccolo Bonifazio has been signed up by the new Bahrain-Merida team for 2017. This season, the 22-year-old won a stage of the Tour of Poland and placed third in the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

In the spring, he rode to fifth in the Scheldeprijs and sixth in Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

Niccolo Bonifazio started his professional career in 2014 with the Lampre-Merida team before riding for one season with Trek-Segafredo.

At the time of writing, the Bonifazio video had been viewed over 65,000 times.

Former Associate Editor

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
