The Phonak team have revealed that the rider who tested positive at the Tour de France was race winner Floyd Landis.

?The Phonak Cycling Team was notified yesterday by the UCI of an unusual level of Testosteron/Epitestosterone ratio in the test made on Floyd Landis after stage 17 of the Tour de France,? said a team representative.

?The Team Management and the rider were both totally surprised of this physiological result,? he continued.

Landis will be suspended until the results of the B test are made public, according to the ProTour Ethical Code.
