Live stream: Watch Jack Bobridge's Hour Record attempt

Live coverage of the Australian's attempt at breaking the World Hour Record at the Darebin International Sports Centre in Melbourne

Jack Bobridge, pursuit, Commonwealth Games 2014, track day two

Jack Bobridge will become the third man to take on the prestigious World Hour Record since the UCI changed its rules to allow aerodynamic equipment to be used, making his attempt on Saturday at the Darebin International Sports Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

The current record is held by IAM Cycling's Matthias Brändle, who set a distance of 51.852km back in October 2014.

Now Bobridge, who is an under-23 World Time Trial Champion and current 4km individual pursuit record holder, is aiming to surpass Brändle's distance and become the first Australian to hold the Hour Record, before his compatriot Rohan Dennis takes to the boards for his attempt on February 8.
