Cycling Weekly managed to quickly grab and look over Mark Cavendish’s Specialized Venge framed steed he used to sprint to victory in the National Road Race Championships in Glasgow last weekend.

After a year as World Road Champion with Team Sky using a Pinarello Dogma, Cavendish is back on Specialized bikes at Omega Pharma-QuickStep as he’d been when riding his final season with HTC in 2011.

Cavendish used Zipp 404 Firecrests front and back with Specialized TT tubs. Note the wheels are ID-ed as having been set aside for the Giro d’Italia too.
