We took a look at Mark Cavendish’s Omega Pharma-QuickStep Specialized S-Works Venge road bike after his pre-Tour of Britain warm-up ride on Saturday.

Cavendish will be gunning for stage wins at the ToB, not least the final stage in London. Cavendish said in the race’s press conference that he is looking forward to riding with Alessandro Petacchi for the first time. The Italian was signed by the team to be a key member of  Cavendish’s lead-out train.

“It was a big motivation to come here with him and race. I am very excited he is on the team and he is a good guy so hopefully we will put on a good show this week and get some good results out of it,” said Cavendish.
