James McCallum has joined Chris Newton in withdrawing from this weekend?s Bikeline Two-Day.

The Plowman Craven rider sustained some nasty road-rash after crashing following a touch of wheels during the Eddie Soens Memorial race last Saturday. ?He has developed an infection in his calf,? explained team manager Garry Beckett, ?and has a nasty haematoma under his left IT band, so we have had to pull him out of the race.?

Beckett has decided not to shuffle the team?s plans for the weekend despite the loss of star rider McCallum: ?Tony Gibb and James Jackson will still be riding the Jock Wadley race in Essex. Hopefully we have the strength-in-depth to still do well at the Bikeline.?
