Surosa Cycles of Oldham, formerly known as the Oldham Cycle Centre, will being playing host to three riders of the Recycling.co.uk professional race team ? former World Track Champion Chris Newton (pictured) and Adam and Ryan Bonser, who work in the shop as mechanics, on Saturday May 12, during the shop’s re-launch event.

In addition to stars of the road scene being in attendance, there will also be a Cubemountain bike demonstration and give-away with a Cube Acid mountain bike up for grabs on the day. The bike features RockShox forks, hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano XT gears and normally retails for more than £500.

Surosa Cycles owners Nigel and Mandy Bishop are both former champions themselves; Nigel was a Milk Race Yellow Jersey holder and GB International whilst Mandy (Jones) was the Ladies World Road Race Champion in 1982. Both Nigel and Mandy still hold current records.
