Scottish cycle clothing manufacturer Endura has unveiled its 2014 Movistar team kit. Endura has said that replica kit on sale to the public will be in every way identical to the team’s clothing rather than an “imitation design applied to lesser clothing”.

Endura will provide the Spanish WorldTour team with all its clothing on a three-year deal starting with the 2014 season, including jerseys, shorts, caps, arm and leg warmers, gloves and race socks.

Endura has employed some of the latest fabrics in the team’s clothing to assist riders out on the road. The short-sleeve jersey uses ‘coldblack’ fabric made in Italy which it claims can reduce the surface temperature on hot days by four degrees centigrade.

The team bibshorts also include some neat touches, such as a twin rear pockets offset from the spine and just below the shoulder blade to accommodate the team’s race radios and/or a rider’s smartphone without pressing into the back or coming into contact with items in the jersey’s rear pockets.

The general public will be able to buy replica Movistar kit from the end of January, with short sleeve jerseys on sale for £59.99, long sleeve jerseys at £69.99, bibshorts at £74.99 and mitts at £26.99.

More information on Endura’s Movistar range, and on the company’s clothing in general, can be found at the Endura Equipe website.

In addition to providing clothing to Movistar, Endura will contiunue to sponsor the Professional Continental NetApp-Endura team.
