Entries are still open for this year’s two-day Kalas Cup stage race, which takes place in Somerset over the weekend of June 7-8.

The event is open to team of three to five riders, (Elite and Cat 1, 2 or 3). Individuals can also enter and they will be placed in a composite team.

Three stages are packed into the two days, with the event kicking off on Saturday (June 7) with a flat one kilometre prologue around the Merryfield Arifield, Ilton , near Ilminster. The day then continues with a circuit race (one hour plus a lap) also based at the airfield, followed by a 20km team time trial. The following day (Sunday, June 8) is a 100km road race based on a roads around Somerton.

On Saturday there are also support circuit races for third and fourth cat riders, youths, women and trikes.

Entry is £35 per rider for the whole weekend. Entry to support races is £10. The event is promoted by Team Tor 2000.
