RICHARD Prebble (Pinarello RT) won the fifth round of the RTTC-Rudy Project Series at Bobbington, Staffordshire, beating former series winner Michael Hutchinson (In Gear RT) by 22 seconds.

Prebble covered the 33-mile, three-lap course in 1-13-41, while Hutchinson clocked 1-14-03, beating third-placed George Richardson (Team Kona) by exactly three minutes.

Olympic hopeful Wendy Houvenaghel (Science in Sport.com) was best of the four women having clocked 51-44 for their 22-mile version of the course, almost four minutes quicker than second-placed Pippa Handley (Edinburgh RC).

Tom Yeatman (Agiskoviner.com) was best junior with 53-24, while John Woodburn (Maidenhead & Dist CC) won the target time category with a plus of 12-45 and Ian Dalton (Cherry Valley RT) was fastest veteran with 49-44.
