The Great Britain gold rush continued in the first final on Friday night with the women?s trio of Rebecca Romero, Wendy Houvenaghel and Joanna Rowsell winning the world title in the new 3000-metre women?s pursuit event.

The trio rode a near?perfect ride to set a new world best time of 3:22.415.
