RACE OFFICIALS TO VISIT DOCKLANDS CIRCUIT

THE Royal Docks cycle racing circuit will be discussed in detail on site next Saturday (January 13) when British Cycling?s chief executive Peter King and representatives of the London Development Agency (LDA) meet with local cycling officials.

The circuit is fenced and floodlit and is being provided by the LDA as an interim measure pending the opening of Hog Hill circuit in Redbridge this August, the relocation site for the Eastway circuit now closed for construction of the Olympic Games site.

Keith Bingham joined the Cycling Weekly team in the summer of 1971, and retired in 2011. During his time, he covered numerous Tours de France, Milk Races and everything in-between.
