BBC seem to be putting in some effort to cover this: BBC1 and RB. Let’s see if they do a fair job.

  • Mark Jones

I agree with Ken, especially as the race is being televised live on the main two BBC channels. Very disappointing if this is the starting team for Sky.

  • Steve

Two weeks would have passed after Le Tour finished and only a few big names? not a lot to be said about the toughness of pro riders these days – 20,000 club cyclists are having to start our day of cycling at an unearthly hour to ensure the same roads are empty for the ‘pro’ teams whom obviously do not think the event worthy of their big guns. So much for Sky claim to be supporting British Cycling , very disappointing.

  • Ken Evans

It is a shame that the GB Tour stars like Cav and Froome couldn’t turn up for a race in the UK, but they can start some nothing crit in Europe ! It is a bit more understandable for Quick step, but it isn’t for Sky. Will there be UK TV coverage for this race ? Live ? On Sky ???
