BAD news for ex-Eastway riders. The Royal Docks circuit will not be ready before June. The planning application has been delayed within the London Borough of Newham, and will not come before a planning meeting until April 18.

The site will also unavailable for 15 days in July/August.

The news has caused a host of cancellations, from LVCC who had booked a series of time trials from May through to July, and from Team Economic Energy who planned to run an eight-week series for youths, women and beginners ?Go Race? events.

The Royal Docks was intended to be up and running by now, as an interim circuit pending Eastway?s relocation to Hog Hill later this year, as part of the Olympic relocation programme.

The London Development Agency in charge of relocation are urgently seeking another interim, interim circuit.
