Jonathan Vaughters has described young Irish rider Ryan Mullen as "one of the best up and coming time trial talents in the world" as it was announced that the 21-year will ride for Cannondale-Garmin in 2016.

Mullen has enjoyed a successful season for UCI Continental team An Post - Chain Reaction, becoming the youngest rider ever to win the Irish time trial championships and finishing third overall in the An Post Ras.
