Scottish track sprinters Craig MacLean, John Paul and Callum Skinner will take on a ‘rest of the world’ international squad at Saturday’s (February 2) Revolution track event at the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome in Glasgow.

It’s the first time that the ever-popular Revolution track series has visited the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, part of the Emirates Arena created in Glasgow to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

As it’s the final round of the four 2012-13 events, the evening will play host to the finale of both the Elite and DHL Future Stars competitions. Rapha Condor JLT currently lead the Elite Championship standings but will face a stiff challenge from the Rudy Project RT and Rouleur squads.

Olympic team pursuit champion Ed Clancy is a last-minute addition to the Rapha line-up on Saturday. Clancy will come up against a bolstered Rouleur squad which includes his Olympic team pursuit team-mate Steven Burke and World Champion Andy Tennant. Ross Edgar appears as part of IG-Sigma Sport’s line-up.

Paralympic champion Jody Cundy has also been announced as part of the star line-up for the evening.

International riders so far confirmed for the night include Dutch trio Michel Kreder, Raymond Kreder, Teun Mulder, and American sprinters Kevin Mansker and Matthew Baranoski..

The event has sold out, but you will be able to watch highlights of the action on ITV4 on Thursday, February 7 at 8pm. The highlights will subsequently be available on ITV Player.
