Sign him up! Peter Sagan shows off his bike football skills (video)

There are few things that Peter Sagan can't do on a bike and playing football on two wheels seems to be one of the many things in the Tinkoff-Saxo rider's repertoire.

Wheelies, bunny hops, skids - Sags can do it all, mostly when it's not required or even asked of him.

On a recent trip to Sportful's headquarters in Italy, Sagan teamed up with trials rider Vittoria Brumotti, who has featured in a few skills videos for the Tinkoff team in recent months, to show off his enviable skills.

One new skill shown off by Sagan this time out was his apparently ability to bunny hop while someone lobbed a football at him. The result: Sagan got his front wheel to make contact with the ball and looping over double world champion Paolo Bettini's head as he 'guarded' the goal.

Of course, Sagan isn't used to winning, so it was quite apt that the ball struck the apex of the crossbar instead of nestling in the onion bag, but we got the jist.

His native Slovakia have already qualified for next year's European Championships in France, but they could maybe do with Sagan in the squad to add some flair, although how his bike fares on grass could be the one thing that holds him back...

Of course, Sagan could just stick with cycling and try and emulate Bettini's feat of winning the Worlds two years running, but he'll have his work cut out on a sweltering Qatar course next season.
