Sir Chris Hoy to receive BBC lifetime achievement award

Sir Chris Hoy will be honoured with the lifetime achievement award at this Sunday’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony.

The 38-year-old Scot retired from competition last year, having won six Olympic gold medals and 11 world championship titles.
