Strava will allow you to compare and watch your ride efforts on a map with the new virtual race and effort comparison tool
The online ride and performance-sharing site Strava has this week launched a comparison tool that allows riders to compare segments with others in a virtual race simulation.
Strava says that the new tool will help athletes see what really happens on their segments in real time, allowing riders to compare with others on that segments leaderboard. Second-by-second stats like speed, heart rate and power for each rider will be shown, with a graph to show time gaps and a play button to watch the segment efforts unfold.
Standard users will be able to compare rider on rider whilst premium users can place up to five athletes on the tool via a filterable leaderboard.
