After a distinctly lukewarm response to Team High Road’s all-black kit, the squad have revamped their clothing just in time for the season to kick off properly.

To be fair, the squad had always maintained that the muted black strip was training kit and that a new design would be on its way. Rumour also has it that the kit may change throughout the season.

The background colour of the kit is now white, with a much bolder High Road logo than before. It’s still more subtle than the magenta T-Mobile kit of old, but is refreshing clean in design.

High Road includes British riders Mark Cavendish, Roger Hammond and Bradley Wiggins.

Team High Road is a new squad based on the former T-Mobile outfit. When the German telecommunications giant pulled out of sponsoring the ProTour ranked team at the end of 2007, team boss Bob Stapleton decided to continue the squad under the name of the management company responsible for running the team – and High Road was born. Stapleton has also registered the squad in the USA rather than Germany.
