Team Sky will send has released line-ups for the upcoming Dauphiné Libéré and the Tour of Switzerland, hinting at the riders that could be included in the team’s Tour de France squad.



Bradley Wiggins, who rode and completed the Giro d’Italia at the weekend, will ride neither of the two events and will instead head straight to the Tour de France, which begins in Rotterdam on July 3.



Russell Downing, Pete Kennaugh and Geraint Thomas are all due to ride the Dauphiné, with Edvald Boasson Hagen riding his second race since returning from injury. The Norwegian rode to 107th overall in the recent Bayern Rundfahrt.



Meanwhile, Ben Swift will ride the Tour of Switzerland alongside the likes of Simon Gerrans and Thomas Lofkvist.



Gerrans will be gunning particularly hard for a Tour spot after being overlooked last year at Cervélo, one of the factors behind his subsequent move to Sky.



Downing, Kennaugh and Ian Stannard will also ride the Ster Elektrotoer, which starts in the Netherlands on June 16, with every European rider due to ride their own national road race championships.
