This week's quiz tests your knowlegde of who's gone where ahead of the 2016 cycling season

Some riders stick with a team for years and become synonymous with that squad. Tom Boonen has been with Quick-Step in its various guises since 2003 and it’s now hard to imagine him riding for anyone else.

But for others, one year contracts and team swaps – often going up and down from the WorldTour – are more commonplace.

Whether there’s a clash of styles or a disappointing run of results, riders will jump ship to save their own career or be pushed out by a team wanting to jettison a poor investment.

Marcel Kittel is an example of a rider who had run out of time at their present team after a lacklustre 2015. His move from Giant-Alpecin to Etixx should help him get back to the top of his game.

However, not all cycling transfers are that high profile or that widely reported. For this week’s cycling quiz we’re testing your knowledge of the moves and deals ahead of the 2016 season, and what those riders have done to earn their new contract.
