THE ROUND TABLE PEDAL THEIR WAY TO £30,000

Young cyclists helped by the charity

Members of the Round Table from across Europe aim to raise £30,000 for children with The Hornsey Trust, a specialist centre for cerebral palsy, by pedalling their way from the Hoek van Holland to Bielefeld in Germany.

The route, which will take a week to complete, will take the riders through the Dunes of the North Sea Coast, across Igsselmeer Lake and through a Dutch National Park.

Trustee of the charity, John Martin, said: ? Despite coming off my bike whist training and needing 13 stitches to my face, I am soldering on because we are cycling for each child who attends the centre now, and for those who have yet to join us.?
