PETER Smith, a member of Cycling Time Trial?s national committee, died on Saturday after he was in collision with a car while course measuring on the A1 in North Nottinghamshire.

Smith, 54, was a member of the Holme Valley Wheelers, and was secretary of the CTT?s Yorkshire District as well as a member of the national committee.
