When Cycle Sport went to see Frank Schleck in a hotel in Italy we got more than we bargained for during the photoshoot.

The Luxemburger was posing for photographs around the hotel swimming pool and went to lean on a bridge’s guard rail. The problem being, there was no guard rail. We published the Frank Schleck interview in last month’s Cycle Sport where the CSC rider spoke of his dreams to challenge for this year’s Tour.

This month we’re printing more of the exclusive photo’s taken on the day by Richard Baybutt.

Also in the August edition of Cycle Sport we have a last minute Tour de France form guide, and an interview with Team Columbia’s Tour contender Kim Kirchen.

Writer Matt Lamy also looks in to why Levi Leipheimer didn’t get out of his Astana contract in order for him to ride the this year’s Tour, after his ‘Let Levi Ride’ campaign fizzled out following this year’s Tour of California.
