The penultimate stage of the 2012 Tour of Britain offers up more mid-stage climbing in the race’s sole visit to the south west.

Riders will have to tackle the twin peaks of Merrivale and Coffin Stone in Dartmoor before plummeting down towards Kingsbridge and onto the lumpy finish into Dartmouth.

Can’t wait for the tour to reach Devon again. Good luck to everyone and in catching the break away half way between Buckfastleigh and Kingsbride, you will need it. My money is on Jonathon Tiernan-Locke for the stage win if the breack can’t be caught. Me and the boys and I will be watching on route and following this web site.
