nowhere near as good a field as last year, where are the riders with star attraction? we were hoping for the likes of Tommy ‘the tongue’ Voeckler and ‘Muscles’ Hushovld. Is there going to be a downhill finish into Llanberis? Now THAT would be worth watching……..watching for Jon Mould, current Welsh RR Champion, to take a stage

  • Ian Bennett

Juraj Sagan is Slovakian, not Slovenian- might be worth updating from (SLO) to (SVK).

  • Mark Jones

This has the potential to be the best Tour of Britain yet and some impressive riders on the list. Looking forward to seeing how the Yates’ twins do and very pleased that Dan Martin is down to ride as he was one of the highlights of the 2010 race for me. Will Wiggo have the fitness to win this race or will the team mess up GC again (a win for his would not sit highly on his palmares but it would really get the race some publicity in the British news). Very exciting to have Nairo Quintana riding this year and hope he performs well. Cav likely to win 2-3 stages depending on the competition from the likes of Viviani and Ciolek. Hopefully our domestic teams will show well again and Bibby is always one who has a chance of a high overall place. Pity that Russ Downing’s injured but hopefully he’ll be back next year with NFTO. All in all it should be a good race but it depends on how the teams ride and hopefully it won’t be decided too earlier on.
