TRANS-CAMBRIAN SPORTIVE ENTRY OPENS

Trans-Cambrian Cyclo-Sportive

September 9, 2007 - make a space in your diary! Online entry for this year's edition of the Trans-Cambrian Cyclo-Sportive has just opened, and you're going to have to be quick to get a place as there are only 500 on offer.

Organised by Clive Powell Mountain Bikes, the 87-mile ride takes in the slopes and quiet roads of the Cambrian Mountains in central Wales, starting and finishing in Rhayader. The route climbs up 500m to the Star Inn, then on to Machynlleth and the coast before meandering back through the mountains and lakes of the stunning Elan Valley.
