T-Mobile have suspended Jan Ullrich, Oscar Sevilla and directeur sportif Rudi Pevenage after receiving official confirmation that they are implicated in the Spanish doping investigation.

?Jan Ullrich, Oscar Sevilla and Rudi Pevenage have been suspended and will not be allowed to ride the Tour de France,? T-Mobile press officer Luuc Eisenga announced on Friday morning.

?We received official information from the Tour de France organisers ASO and so we decided to suspended them. They will be replaced by Stefan Schleck and Lorenzo Bernucci.?

?Obviously this changes our strategy for the Tour de France and now we will take things day by day. The information we received was serious and it made us doubt the version of Jan Ullrich, Oscar Sevilla and Rudi Pevenage.?

The names of many other riders implicated in ‘Operacion Puerto’ have been published in Friday?s edition of Spanish newspaper El Pais and other riders are expected to be suspended before the start of the Tour.

The International team association have already made it clear that any riders officially listed in the investigation will be suspended and not allowed to start the Tour de France.

Tour organisers ASO have apparently received a 37-page summary of the 500 page investigation documents and will make further announcements when the pages have been translated from Spanish to Italian.
