Victoria Pendleton and British Cycling sponsor Gatorade have put together a sprint masterclass video and put it on Youtube.

In the video the Olympic champion and eight time world champion goes through the sprint competition, from the draw for start position to how to manipulate your opponent.

Pendleton is competing in the team sprint on day one of the world track champs in Melbourne today, with British team mate Jess Varnish. The pair set a new world record on route to winning gold at the London world cup in February, and should feature well today.

Pendleton is also competing in the sprint and keirin, and will ride all three events at the Olympic Games in London this August.
