Jason Kenny and Simon Yates won a world title each for Great Britain at the world track championships in Minsk yesterday.

Kenny won his first keirin title while Simon Yates won the points race with a near perfect ride. The wins put Great Britain at the top of the medal table with strong medal chances still to come in Laura Trott in the women’s omnium and Jason Kenny in the sprint.
