Welsh time trial champion has bike stolen
Stephanie Post has her Cervelo P3 time trial bike valued at £6000 stolen from her car in Cardiff
Welsh time trial champion Stephanie Post has had her Cervelo P3 TT bike stolen. Post had stored the bike in her car outside her property in Cardiff while building work was being undertaken on her home.
Someone broke into the car and removed the bike in the early hours of Sunday morning, reports Wales Online.

It is the same bike that Cardiff Ajax CC rider Post used to take the 2016 Welsh championship victory in June, and is valued at around £6000. She had recently had the aerodynamics of the bike tweaked at Newport velodrome.
As it was Post's only bike, she now faces difficulty in keeping up her winter training regime set by the coaching business of former British time trial multi-champion Matt Bottrill.

“Despite my car being relatively new, I didn’t care about the car, just the bike," Post told Wales Online.
“It’s so frustrating because that bike is the one I use every single day and it’s part of my life. I train on it and time trialling is such a niche, it’s about every aspect of the bike and the aerodynamics."
The theft has been reported to police.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
