A slightly more interesting world champs in the shape of chariot racing from the Welsh countryside

Very different to the standard UCI World Championships, a small but dedicated group of mountain bike chariot riders gathered in Llanwrtyd Wells in Wales for this fun competition.

The event is split into a time trial and a mass start race.

Slate bike fun California

In this clip, Cannondale bring a group of riders together to assemble and ride their adventure offerings.

Classics winning machine?

Is this the bike that will bring Alexander Kristoff another season of success?

The new Canyon Aeroad CF SLX will be put through its paces during the Classics as the Norwegian aims to better his Tour of Flanders win last season with mulitple successes on the cobbles.

Road bike trials in the snow

Follow-me drones

This drone, here demonstrated on a mock-MTB course, could revolutionise television coverage of road races if used in the closing kilometre.

Development of this kind of technology alongside live-feed on-bike footage will surely be the future of race coverage.

Essential maintenance

Our very own Al Vines gives his latest tutorial, this time on the essentials of keeping your rims and brake pads in working order.

Something that is more important this time of the year, Al’s invaluable advice could save riders from having to make costly replacements sooner than they should.

Looking ahead to the Vuelta

It may be the final Grand Tour of the year and a whole eight months away, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to check out the 2016 route of the Vuelta a España.

The Spanish race is quickly confirming its place as the fans’ favourite and the tough course of this year should be be no less entertaining than in years gone by.
