PLOWMAN CRAVEN AND PEARL IZUMI JOIN FORCES

This season’s Plowman Craven and Pearl Izumi squads combine for 2009 as Shimano distributors Madison join as title sponsors of the new British road outfit.
The 10-man UCI registered team will ride under the banner of Plowman Craven-Madison, with Pearl Izumi still on board as clothing sponsor. Eddie White and Cherie Pridham will be team manager and director respectively.
New signings Tom Murray (formerly CandiTV-Pinarello) and Jonathan Tiernan-Locke (Mid-Devon CC) join the seven riders retained from the combined squads, with one more new name yet to be announced.
Tony Gibb, previously thought to be retiring this year, is fired up and training already according to White.
The nine riders so far announced are: Tom Barras, Tony Gibb, James Millard, Evan Oliphant (all from Plowman Craven), Stephen Adams, Jeroen Janssen, Jon Mozley (all from Pearl Izumi), Tom Murray (from Pinarello) and Jonathan Tiernan-Locke (from Mid-Devon CC).
