Dan Fleeman career profile
Dan Fleeman shot to prominence in 2004, winning the British espoirs title. Since then, Fleeman has spent time racing as an amateur in France, where he took wins in the Prix de la St Amour and the Tour de Beaujolais.

A move to the DFL-Cyclingnews team helped to raise his profile, but being a Belgian team, the race schedule did not suit the Staffordshire climber.

Set to ride for the Pedaltech team in 2008, his plans fell through when the sponsor pulled out leaving Fleeman without a team. Fortunately, a private backer funded his place on the AN Post-Sean Kelly team, where he impressed many with his performance in the Tour of Ireland and his top-ten ride in the Tour of Britain, where he was only 25 seconds down on race winner, Geoffroy Lequatre.

However, Fleeman's breakthrough performance came when he won the Tour des Pyrénées, catching the eye of several team directors. Fleeman rode for the newly formed Cervélo Test Team of Carlos Sastre in 2009 but suffered an injury-blighted season.

Having failed to re-sign to Cervelo, Fleeman signed for the British-based Team Raleigh for 2010.
