WEGELIUS IN ITALY
Britain’s Charly Wegelius was in action again over the weekend at the prestigious Giro del Lazio in Italy.

Wegelius finished 45th, 2:07 behind race-winner Francesco Masciarelli, in what is usually considered as a warm-up for the Tour of Lombardy a week on Saturday.

BELLIS RACING AGAIN
Britain’s Jonathan Bellis was racing again in only his second race for the CSC team at the Circuit Franco-Belge.

Bellis' best result in the race was a top-30 placing in a bunch sprint on stage two, but he failed to finish the final stage.

Bellis is currently riding for the CSC team as a stagiaire and will become a fully-fledged member of the team at the beginning of 2009.

CYCLE SHOW 2008
Stuck for something to do this weekend? Why not pop down to this year’s Cycle Show at Earl’s Court.

This year, the organisers are promising more floor space and exhibitors than ever before.

See www.cycleshow.co.uk or click here for more details.

WYMAN IN SWITZERLAND
Britain’s Helen Wyman won the Badiquer Schmerikon cyclo-cross race in Switzerland yesterday.

Wyman fended off Linda van Rijen and Nicole Hanselmann, with Bart Aernouts taking the men’s race.

ROLLAPALUZA
First time roller racer Chris Moore won the BFF Carhartt Rollapaluza event on Saturday evening with a scorching time of 42.93 for the final 1000m.

Moore’s road racing fitness was evident during the event, maintaining fast times throughout the duration of the evening, setting the fastest semi final time as well.

Also new to roller racing, Minh Ai, beat the experienced Agata to take the women’s title.
