MEET THE STARS AT CYCLE 2008

Newly crowned women's road race world champion and Olympic champion Nicole Cooke is among the cycling stars attending next week's Cycle show at Earls Court, London (October 9-12).

Cooke will be there on Sunday, October 12, taking part in a question and answer session and then signing copies of her new book.

Cooke's fellow Olympic gold medallist Paul Manning will be there on Friday, October 10. Manning was part of Britain's triumphant world-record-beating team pursuit squad.

Fresh from representing Britain in the world championships time trial and road race David Millar will be appearing on the Garmin stand on Saturday, October 11.

Other cycle stars at the show include Paralympic gold medallist Darren Kenny, downhill world champions Rachel and Gee Atherton, BMX and track star Shanaze Reade and Race Across America soloist Jim Rees.

Advance tickets cost £11 for adults and £5.50 for children (under-fives go free) - concessions are also available. You can book them online or by calling the telephone hotline on 0844 848 0133.
