Watch Millar's chain give way under him as he prepares to attack in the final kilometre of the fifth stage of the Giro d'Italia. Then see his impressive bike-hurling skills – the best since Bjarne Riis chucked his time trial bike a decade ago in the Tour de France.
Our friends at Belgian TV station Sporza have a clip of Millar's moment of disaster, plus the final kilometre of the stage. Be quick, though, Sporza will take the clip down tomorrow.
