WELSH OPEN TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

The highlight of the Welsh track racing calendar is nearly upon us, the Welsh Open Track Championships takes place over May 23-25 at the Newport Velodrome.
The event is now an open one, so anyone can have a go - the closing date for late entries being moved to Friday May 17.
Welsh titles will be up for grabs in an extensive racing programme for senior, junior and Under-16s men and women, with the Uner-12 and -14 age groups racing an omnium.
The three day event begins Friday May 23 going right through until Sunday 25. This will be an ideal event to compete in for all ages or take the family to watch top class track racing at one of the country's best cycling venues.
