If you’re going along to watch the Tour of Britain this week, make sure you take your camera with you. Cycling Weekly has teamed up with the Canon and the Tour of Britain to find the best photographs from this year’s ToB.

There’s a pile of top class Canon kit up for grabs, plus the 10 top photos will be displayed on the ToB stand at this year’s Cycle Show in London (October 6-8, 2006).

We’re not just looking for race images, but landscape shots, photos of spectators – anything that captures the mood of the Tour of Britain.

The judging panel, consisting of representatives of the ToB, Canon and CW, will then cast a critical eye over your photos. The winner will receive a Canon PowerShot A530 digital camera and Selphy CP510 direct home printer, Canon hat, Tour of Britain water bottle and signed ToB jersey. They will also get the winning shot put onto a canvas.

Runner up will receive a Canon PowerShot A530 digital camera, Canon hat and Tour of Britain water bottle. Eight runners up will receive a Canon hat and Tour of Britain water bottle.

How do you enter?
Simply email your picture (300dpi jpeg format) to cycling_pictures@ipcmedia.com with the subject line ‘ToB Canon comp’. The winner will be announced at Cycle Show 2006. All entries must be received by the closing date of September 15, 2006.
