Cervélo unveils limited edition Tour de France frames

Cervelo R3SL TdF

To celebrate both the start of Tour de France and Carlos Sastre’s position as defending champion this year, Cervélo has unveiled limited editions of its flagship road frames; the R3-SL and S3 in exclusive black and yellow pinstripe paintjobs.

The R3-SL was the bike Sastre spent the majority of last year’s Tour riding and each R3-SL TdF LTD frameset will come with a signed yellow jersey and a certificate of authenticity.

The R3-SL is expected to be available by mid-July, priced at £3099.99 (a premium of £100 over the standard frameset) with only a small quantity of the limited production run of 50 destined for the UK.

The S3 TdF LTD is designed to celebrate the Cervélo Test Team’s inaugural Tour de France and shares the black with yellow pinstripe detailing as the R3.

Just 200 of the S3 will be produced worldwide; stock is also expected by mid-July at a price of £3499.99.

Both frames come complete with 3T Funda Team forks, FSA integrated headset and seatpost. The R3-SL is supplied with a 3T Doric Offset LTD (not shown in photo), whilst the S3 comes with Cervélo’s own carbon aero SL seatpost.
