Alberto Contador speaks openly about the triumphs and tribulations of winning this year's Tour de France in the new issue of Cycle Sport magazine, out now.

In an exclusive interview with the magazine, Contador says that he wants to move on from the internal wranglings at his Astana team during July, and find a team that is 100 per cent behind his Tour aims.

Contador also reveals during the interview that he thinks Britain's Bradley Wiggins could one day win the Tour de France.

The latest issue of Cycle Sport also includes interviews with George Hincapie, Vincenzo Nibali and Bernhard Eisel; a behind the scenes look at Saxo Bank's Tour campaign; a look at how sponsorship is changing the sport; and a feature on Tour King of the Mountains Franco Pellizotti.

Plus, there are features on how the pro's train; a look at the latest pro tech; a ride with Nick Nuyens; Sierra Nevada is this month's iconic climb; and there's the usual mix of pro cycling news, analysis and results.

Cycle Sport October 2009 issue is on sale now at WHSmith, major supermarkets and all good newsagents priced £4.10.

Thanks, Nigel. The website now offers the option of buying issues online, and thanks to the Zinio preview feature, I was able to print and read the article for free. It was interesting stuff, once again showing that Alberto doesn't like to speak badly of anyone.
