The planks have been safely cleared, the bike is back on firm ground. You are travelling at speed on foot, but how to jump back on without grinding to a halt or making a complete fool of yourself? Watch the expert in action at Blenheim Palace...

Maintain your speed on foot and keep looking ahead.

Get your hands back on the bars and prepare to launch.

Try and land ON the saddle, rather than behind it: this will result in damage to the nether regions.

Look for a soft landing without getting run over. Notice workmates on fence.

Check for irreparable damage to undercarriage before continuing.

Regain compusure while woman on left laughs her socks off. Spot photographer from CW.

Threaten CW photogrpaher with legal action before trying again. Repeat ad nauseum.
