Police raids uncover new Spanish doping ring

Spanish police have uncovered a new doping ring and detained 12 people on Tuesday as a result of a string of raids across Spain.
The new doping ring appears to be centred on clinics and pharmacies linked to Walter Viru, a former aide to Eufemiano Fuentes, the doctor at the centre of the Operacion Puerto doping scandal. Viru is also the former team doctor of the Spanish Kelme squad.
According to Spanish press agency Efe, authorities have seized banned doping products including EPO, CERA and hormones in Barcelona, Murcia, Granada and Valencia.
