No. 22 Sarah Storey
Last year's position: 17th

Paralympic champion Sarah Storey ended the season talking of the possibility of competing in the Olympics in 2012.

The former swimmer switched to cycling in time for the Beijing Games and won gold on the track and the road.

This season she defended her individual pursuit title at the National Championships with a time of 3-40 - which would have been good enough for a top eight position at the World Championships in Poland. And her times are good enough to medal at most World Cup events.

At the Para-Cycling World Championships she won the individual pursuit and 500-metre time trial in the LC1 category.

However, with the team pursuit likely to be included in the London Olympics, Storey could be another option for the Great Britain team.

don't forget Sarah went 3.34.266 when she won the Individual Pursuit at the Paracycling World Championships...... and 37.430 to win the 500m TT - pretty decent times!
She has also won 2 Paracycling World Championships on the Road, Road Race and Road Time Trial as well as a gold and silver at the World Masters Road Championships.
She has also managed silvers behind Julia Shaw in the National "25" and "50" mile TT and was joint winner of the Rudy Project series.
I know I am biased but she's had a better season than you're giving her credit for!
