British Eurosport's season of cycling kicks off with the Tour of Qatar on February 7.
The station will also show the three big tours - the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana - extensively, plus a host of other big one-day and stage races.
However, one big Classic not on the Eurosport schedule is Ghent-Wevelgem, which moves from its midweek date to Sunday, March 28.
Viewers will be able to watch Mark Cavendish in action at his first race of the season in the Middle East.
The Tour de France and Paris-Roubaix will be shown in high definition on Eurosport HD.
Eurosport will continue its magazine show, Planet Armstrong, with 40 programmes chronicling Lance Armstrong's season between February and October.
The races will be shown on the British Eurosport, British Eurosport 2 and Eurosport HD channels. Not all the Classics will be shown live. Check TV listings nearer the time for details. Other events may be added. These are the events currently confirmed.

Those with access to Sky Sports will be able to watch the Tour Down Under later this month (January 19-24) with Sky showing the end of the final two stages live.

does anyone kno if Sky Sports plan on showing any more cycling or have they just got Tour Down Under?! Hardly worth paying the stoopid fees for just one event!!!

Great coverage of cycling on eurosport the only national t.v. service that covers this great sport Remembering in the 50s 60s 70s when the only way to get info was to listen on French radio for a sport taking place only 50 miles away across a strip of water.Next to football cycling was the next most popular sport with my friends in the 50s All of use from 2nd mod schools and council housing what a golden opportunity was lost by british televison in not showing this sport but they wanted to concentrate on the snob sports horse racing, cricket ect: Keep up the good work and lets not go back to the dark ages

Can someone, somewhere impress on David Harmon that the name of that Kazakh rider in the Astana team is VinnaKOOrov - not, not, NOT VinNEWkorov!! OK, so he doesn't like the guy - but he broadcasts professionally on international sports - he's paid to get people's names right.

Hello to you all, Next year both my husband and i reach retirement age, We don't intend to give in gracefully, so when the time is right would like to do a tour of France on our bikes.The thing is though we need to know more about maintenance .
