Team Sky start their first Tour of Flanders this coming Sunday buoyed by Juan Antonio Flecha's third place in E3 Prijs Vlaanderen at the weekend.
The Spaniard will once again lead the British team on Sunday as they tackle one of the monuments of the sport. All the teams are now based in Flanders, and many of them will be riding the Three days of De Panne as preparation his week.
Team Sky took advantage of a day-off in this hectic schedule to check out some of the route of the Tour of Flanders. Canadian rider Michael Barry rode with a helmet camera. "The camera came loose a few times so my teammate Juan Antonio Flecha edited the segments on his computer and we put together a short film." he said on his website.
"The team riding on the cobbles was: Juan Anotonio Flecha, Kurt-Asle Arvesen, Edvald Boasson-Hagen, Mathew Hayman, Greg Henderson, Ian Stannard and G' Thomas. You can make out a few of the faces in the film. The rider who takes off on the cobbled section, the Holleweg, is Flecha. We rode the section quite quickly which the camera captures."
