No surprises as Leopard-Trek team launched

Frank Schleck and Fabian Cancellara, Team Leopard-Trek team presentation, January 2011

Delivering few surprises, Brian Nygaard announced new first division team, Leopard-Trek in Luxembourg today.

The team took shape at the Tour de France last year. After Andy Schleck finished second, he announced that he and his brother Fränk would join a new team based in their home country. Their names and other star signees, including Fabian Cancellara, were rumoured to be with the team, so it was no surprise when the press releases trickled out of Luxembourg in the autumn.
