Cancellara finally first as Leopard Trek rider tops latest UCI World Ranking

2011 paris roubaix

Despite narrowly missing out in this year's Milan-San Remo, the Tour of Flanders and yesterday's Paris-Roubaix, Fabian Cancellara (Leopard Trek) has moved to the top of the Union Cycliste Internationale's latest WorldTour ranking, released today.

Cancellara, who won the E3 Prijs Vlaanderen - which isn't part of the WorldTour - along with the final stage in last month's Tirreno-Adriatico, has been the rider of the classics thus far, finishing second in San Remo and Roubaix, with a third in Flanders to boot.
