STAGE 21
Date: Sunday, July 24 2011
From/to: Créteil to Paris Champs-Élysées
Distance: 95km
Type: Flat
Impact on jerseys
Yellow 0/5
Green 5/5
Polka dot 0/5
After two comfortable victories on the Champs-Élysées previously, can Mark Cavendish become the first rider ever to take a hat-trick of wins on the iconic avenue?
Pan-flat stages are almost as rare as time trials in this year's Tour, so HTC-Highroad will be keen to keep the race under control around the Parisian streets.
To make up for a 550km transfer from Grenoble, this is the shortest road stage of the entire race, clocking it at a paltry 95km - 51 of which are on the finishing circuit around the Champs-Élysées.

With the top 6 so close together after stage 19, is it reasonable to expect that stage 21 (Sunday) will be a serious race for the top position or is it likely that tradition will rule and allow the race to be decided at the end of the day for stage 20?

What is the GMT time of today's event? The 'Le tour' website has got a schedule which I don't understand. The itv4 site, in its solipsistic way, tells me when their coverage starts, but not the actual start time of the stage.
